No loss of life reported among security agencies
ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Pakistan Army conducted an intelligence-driven operation in Tirah, Khyber District, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists.
The Inter-Services Public Relations reported that they carried out an operation on the night of September 25th to 26th in response to received reports regarding the presence of terrorists.
“During the operation, our troops engaged in intense gunfire with the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists, including the terrorist leader Kifayat,” the statement announced.
The statement additionally disclosed that Kifayat had actively engaged in numerous acts of terrorism, directly targeting both law enforcement agencies and innocent civilians.
There are no reports of casualties were on the side of the security forces.
Following the operation, the army conducted a thorough sweep of the area to locate and neutralize any remaining terrorists.
