In a significant development, the caretaker government led by Kakar officially appointed Dr. Amjad Saqib as the Chairman of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

Meanwhile, president Dr. Arif Alvi approved this crucial decision on Friday, in strict accordance with Section 5(3) of the Benazir Income Support Programme Act 2010, as stated by the President’s Office.

Dr. Amjad Saqib’s extensive experience and expertise make him a fitting candidate for this pivotal role.

Recognizing the importance of this appointment, President Dr. Arif Alvi personally approved Dr. Amjad Saqib’s selection as the Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program, underscoring the significance of this role in ensuring social welfare and support for the country’s most vulnerable populations.

In addition, the Benazir Income Support Program is a flagship social safety net program in Pakistan, aimed at providing financial assistance and support to disadvantaged and low-income households across the nation.

Moreover, the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports, an attached department of the Ministry of Interior, issues passports to all eligible Pakistani citizens for international travel, provided they meet all requirements.

To provide proof of the prescribed passport fee payment, you should present either the Original Bank Paid Fee Challan (receipt) or the e-Payment Confirmation Detail (SMS/Email) containing the PSID No. Additionally, bring your original valid CNIC/NICOP along with a photocopy.
