MATIARI: According to the police, the incident occurred on Wednesday and they discovered the body of a 12-year-old boy hanging from a tree in Matiari city, Sindh.
According to available information, the police located the body of Faizan, the 12-year-old son of Yar Muhammad, suspended from a tree near Ghalib Khyber, a suburb of Matiari.
Sources informed that the boy had been subjected to sexual assault before his death. Upon receiving the alert, the police and rescue workers promptly responded, transporting the body to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Furthermore, the family members of the 12-year-old mentioned that Faizan had left his home in the morning to cut wood.
Meanwhile, the police emphasized that it is premature to comment on the sexual assault aspect, noting that confirmation will follow after the post-mortem examination.

Moreover, the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) sealed Lal Haveli, the residence of Awami Muslim League (AML) chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed.
ETPB staff, along with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and police personnel, reached Sheikh Rasheed’s residence to carry out the sealing operation.
