Pakistani Judge
Supreme Court Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of Pakistan is currently on an educational trip to the United States until 1st of October.
He is set to participate in the Global Constitutionalism Seminar 2023, a four-day event taking place at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, USA.

Pakistani Judge, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah will deliver lectures in USA.
According to a statement from the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Justice Shah will serve as a discussion leader and moderate one of the sessions focused on “equality and rights.”
During his visit, on September 25, he will deliver a lecture at the Pardee School at Boston University, discussing Pakistan’s evolving jurisprudence and forthcoming legal reforms.
Furthermore, Justice Mansoor will co-teach a comparative law class at Harvard Law School alongside Professor Intisar Rabb of Harvard Law School.
The course will explore topics related to comparative constitutionalism and sharia law.
Additionally, he intends to participate in a workshop aimed at developing a research portal for Pakistan. It will be done in collaboration with Harvard Law School and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Its focus is to provide state-of-the-art research facilities.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is expected to return to Pakistan on October 1st, 2023.

IMF managing director Kristalina Georgieva asked Pakistan to tax the rich people in the country. She stated this in her brief meeting with caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar during the 78th UNGA session in New York.
The IMF leader advocated for imposing taxes on the affluent population in Pakistan.
Moreover, caretaker PM Kakar conveyed that their discussions had underscored their shared commitment to enhancing economic growth in Pakistan.
Georgieva shared a photo on her social media account and commented on her meeting with Pakistan’s PM regarding the nation’s economic prospects.
