QUETTA / ISLAMABAD: A small explosion near Mastung district in Balochistan injured Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hamdullah and his gunman.

Initial reports indicate that the JUI-F leader, who also functions as the spokesman for the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance, sustained injuries, along with one of his aides and his gunman, while traveling to Balochistan’s Mangocher city. Authorities have described this incident as a roadside blast.
The police rushed to the siteThe nature and extent of their injuries remain undisclosed. Authorities have transferred all three individuals to Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Hospital in Quetta. According to the reports, Hafiz Hamdullah is out of danger now.

Meanwhile, Judge Abu Alhasnaat Zulqurnain announced the decision on Umar’s bail against surety bonds worth Rs50,000. Umar, who served as finance minister and planning minister in the PTI government, appeared in person before the Islamabad court to secure bail.
