Gun Battle
Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the general area of MiranShah in North Waziristan district on Friday. During the intense gun battle, Major Amir and Sepoy Arif embraced martyrdom.
Major Amir, leading the operation from the front, detected and intercepted a group of terrorists. In the ensuing exchange of fire, Major Amir and Sepoy Muhammad Arif displayed remarkable bravery. They eliminated one terrorist while injuring another during the intense firefight.
Tragically, this valiant display of courage led to the ultimate sacrifice of two dedicated patriots: Major Amir Aziz, a 29-year-old hailing from Sargodha District, and Sepoy Muhammad Arif, a 27-year-old resident of Sahiwal District. Both heroes fought gallantly and embraced Shahadat in the line of duty.
Currently, the area is undergoing thorough sanitization operations to root out any remaining terrorists. Pakistan’s Security Forces maintain unwavering determination in their mission to eradicate terrorism. The sacrifices made by these brave soldiers serve as a testament to their unyielding resolve.
The nation mourns the loss of Major Amir and Sepoy Arif, recognizing their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country and its citizens. Their sacrifice strengthens the collective resolve to combat terrorism and maintain peace and security in Pakistan.
