QUETTA / ISLAMABAD: The Balochistan police’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) eliminated four individuals believed to be ‘terrorists’ associated with a banned organization in Pishin, Balochistan.
According to the spokesperson, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a raid on a ‘terrorist’ hideout in Sarkhab, Pishin, acting on a tip.
When confronted by CTD personnel, the alleged outlaws opened fire, prompting a retaliatory response that resulted in the death of four ‘terrorists’.
These individuals, associated with a proscribed organization, had been planning a terror attack. The operation led to the recovery of arms and ammunition from the outlaws.
The initial reports indicate that the identities of the deceased remain unknown. Their bodies have been transferred to the hospital for legal procedures.
Earlier on August 9, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) neutralized three members of a banned outfit in Balochistan.
In a previous incident on June 10, the Counter-Terrorism Department apprehended two terrorists. They were allegedly affiliated with a banned group during a raid in Bhakkar.
The detainees, identified as Muhammad Ullah and Fazal Razzaq, were involved in suspicious activities. Law enforcement officials found donation receipts and banned literature in their possession.
