Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council convened
ISLAMABAD: Caretaker government received assurance of complete cooperation for economic revival from Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar chaired a meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s (SIFC) Apex Committee. The meeting included the COAS, caretaker cabinet, chief ministers, and senior officials.
During the meeting, supervising ministers and military officials briefed the participants on investment sectors, including the Ministry of Food Security, Ministry of IT, and Minerals.
Anwar Haq Kakar, the caretaker Prime Minister, expressed contentment with SIFC’s performance and instructed the acceleration of identified project completion.
He characterized SIFC as a journey towards national development, stressing that foreign investment could enhance the country’s economic conditions.
Kakar highlighted the government’s duty to create a conducive environment and offer facilities for investors.
