Duty Judge Waqas Ahmed Raja delivered the reserved verdict. The court granted bail to Mazari against surety bonds worth Rs30,000.

However, the court remanded Ali Wazir to Adiala jail on judicial remand.

Yesterday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) took human rights lawyer Imaan Mazari into police custody on charges of “interference in state affairs”.

The court presented the female lawyer after her one-day remand expired today. Imaan’s lawyer stated that her client faced charges in two similar cases.

After a 24-hour physical remand with no recovery by the police, they now seek a 10-day remand for her.

Notably, Imaan was apprehended by the police early Sunday for alleged interference in state affairs.
