Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif is reportedly planning to return to Pakistan by mid-September, according to a source within the Sharif family. The source revealed that Nawaz Sharif may depart from London in approximately one month.

The Sharif family’s lawyers recommended an immediate return following the conclusion of his European and Middle Eastern visit. However, some members of the PML-N have advised him to aim for a mid-September arrival.

London

They have finalized the decision for Nawaz Sharif’s return after almost four years of exile. According to the source, the preparations are progressing smoothly. Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz have been in regular contact with Nawaz Sharif regarding the intricacies related to his return to Pakistan.

Regarding recent legal developments, the source stated that the recent verdict of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on the Supreme Court (Review of Judgements and Orders) Act 2023 does not impact Nawaz Sharif’s legal cases. The Sharif family’s legal team has reportedly prepared a comprehensive legal defense for Nawaz in various cases. They will initiate the legal proceedings as soon as he returns to Pakistan.
