Caretaker Government reshuffles top bureaucrats

ISLAMABAD: The interim government has relocated the Chief Secretaries of Sindh, Balochistan, and AJK, along with a number of federal secretaries.

The Establishment Division’s cabinet secretariat issued the transfer notification. The details of the appointments are given below;

1. Mr. Kamran Ali Afzal, currently serving as Director General, Civil Services Academy, Lahore is transferred and posted as Secretary, Cabinet Division.
2. Sajid Baloch, currently holding the position of Additional Secretary in the Cabinet Division, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary Cabinet Division.
3. Muhammad Abdullah Khan Sumbal, presently serving as the Additional Secretary (Incharge) Science and Technology Division, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary (Incharge) in the Interior Division.
4. Mr. Hasan Nisar Jamay, the current Secretary of the Water Resources Division, has been reassigned to the position of Secretary in the Information Technology and Telecommunications Division.
5. Momin Agha, currently serving as the Additional Secretary (Incharge) in the Industries and Production Division, has been moved to the position of Additional Secretary (Incharge) in the Petroleum Division.
6. Capt. (Retd) Muhammad Mahmood, who is currently holding the position of Additional Secretary (Incharge) in the Petroleum Division, has been transferred to the role of Additional Secretary (Incharge) in the National Food Security and Research Division.
7. Shehzad Khan Bangash, who is currently an OSD in the Establishment Division, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Housing and Works Division.
8. Syed Asif Hyder Shah, who is currently an OSD in the Establishment Division, has been designated as the Secretary of the Climate Change Division.
9. Mr. Allah Dino Khawaja, who currently serves as the Commandant of the National Police Academy under the Interior Division, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Human Rights Division.
10. Ms. Humaira Ahmad, who is currently awaiting a position in the Establishment Division, has been appointed as the Secretary of the National Heritage and Culture Division.
11. Syed Ali Murtaza, the current Secretary of the Interior Division, has been transferred to the position of Secretary in the Water Resources Division.
12. Dr. Muhammad Fakhre Alam Irfan, who currently serves as the Secretary of the Housing and Works Division, has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Sindh.
13. Mr. Dawood Muhammad Bareach, who is currently serving as the Additional Secretary of the Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Division, has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
14. Mr. Shakeel Qadir Khan, the Additional Secretary of the Power Division, has been designated as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Balochistan.
15. Captain (Retd) Muhammad Anwar-ul-Haq, who is currently serving as the Acting Charge Officer at the Capital Development Authority (CDA), has been appointed as the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad Capital Territory.
16. Mr. Ali Raza Bhutta, who currently holds the position of Secretary in the Human Rights Division, has been reassigned to the role of Secretary in the Science and Technology Division.
17. Ms. Sarah Saeed, who is currently serving as the Special Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Commerce Division.
18. Mr. Eazaz Aslam Dar, who is currently the Special Secretary of the Cabinet Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
19. Mr. Navaid Ahmed Shaikh, who currently holds the position of Secretary in the Information Technology and Telecommunications Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
20. Mr. Musaddiq Ahmed Khan, who is currently serving as the Additional Secretary (Incharge) of the Climate Change Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
21. Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput, who currently holds the position of Chief Secretary of the Government of Sindh, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
22. Mr. Muhammad Usman Chachar, who is currently the Chief Secretary of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
23. Mr. Abdul Aziz Uqaili, who currently serves as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Balochistan, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
24. Mr. Yawar Hussain, who holds the position of Director General of Immigration and Passport under the Interior Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
25. Captain (Retd) Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, who currently serves as the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
26. Mr. Mustafa Jamal Kazi, currently holding the position of Joint Secretary in the National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination division in Islamabad, has been appointed as the Director General of the Immigration and Passport Office in Islamabad.
27. Dr. Iram Anjum Khan, who is currently serving in the Office of the Auditor General of Pakistan as Additional Auditor General-I, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Maritime Affairs Division.
28. Ms. Fareena Mazhar, who currently holds the position of Secretary in the National Heritage and Culture Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
29. Mr. Abdul Ghufran Memon, who is currently the Secretary of the Maritime Affairs Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
