ISLAMABAD: A passenger coach flipped over in Nawabshah today, resulting in the death of a girl and causing injuries to 24 other passengers.
A passenger coach heading towards Karachi from Jhang flipped over near Zero Point, Sakrand, in Nawabshah, causing the death of a young girl instantly. Additionally, 24 other individuals, including women and children, sustained injuries.
Upon receiving the accident report, the police and rescue teams promptly reached the site of the crash and transported the injured individuals to a nearby hospital.
The police stated that the driver lost control of the passenger bus, leading to the occurrence of the accident.
Earlier on May 31, incident resulted in the death of at least six individuals, with another 30 sustaining injuries, as the passenger bus they were traveling in flipped over after skidding off a bridge in Khanewal.
Rescue officials reported that the mishap occurred near Pull Rango. They stated that the bus, which was enroute from Lahore to Multan, had met with the accident.
The driver of the vehicle attempted to avoid a collision with a motorcycle but lost control, leading to the overturning of the bus, according to their account.
