PCB Announces Sale of Tickets for Asia Cup Matches in Pakistan Starting Tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Friday that they will start selling tickets for the Pakistan leg of the Men’s Asia Cup 2023 through pcb. bookme.pk from tomorrow (August 12).

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are set to co-host the upcoming Asia Cup, taking place a month before the World Cup in September.

As per the schedule, Pakistan will host four matches of the tournament, while the remaining matches will be held in Sri Lanka, with India participating. The Indian cricket board declined to send their team to Pakistan for the tournament.

The inaugural match of the tournament, featuring Pakistan and Nepal, is scheduled for August 30 in Multan. Additionally, three more matches will be held in Pakistan: Bangladesh vs Afghanistan in Lahore on September 3, Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan in Lahore on September 5, and a Super Four Group match on September 6 in Lahore.

The highly anticipated Pakistan vs India match is set to occur on September 2 in Pallekele, Sri Lanka.

The PCB said in a press release that ticket prices have been set at “affordable rates” to mark the Asia Cup’s return to Pakistan after 15 years, ensuring that fans can witness their team and Asian cricket stars up close.

In the initial phase, the PCB will reveal prices for the VIP and premium enclosures at both the Multan Cricket Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. On August 14, the board will announce prices for first-class and general enclosures.

The PCB said that these details will be communicated through their official social media platforms.

The board also mentioned that information regarding ticketing for the Sri Lanka leg will be provided at an appropriate time.
