ISLAMABAD: A road accident in Chilas, Babusar Valley, resulted in 14 tourists being injured.
The tourists were on their way to visit the scenic valley when their vehicle experienced an uncontrollable overturn due to brake failure.
Authorities shifted the injured to a nearby hospital, where three of them are reported to be in critical condition. The police confirmed that the tourists were from Islamabad.
Last week, a tragic incident occurred where eight members of a family lost their lives, and 10 others sustained injuries when their van collided with an oncoming vehicle and veered off the road near Babusar Top. The impact of the collision caused the van’s driver to lose control, leading to the vehicle plunging into a deep ditch.
All the deceased victims were members of the same family hailing from Sialkot.
