‘Salam Pakistan’ Brand and ‘e-Portal’ Inaugurated by PM Shehbaz to boost tourism

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the “Salam Pakistan” brand and “e-Portal” at a ceremony held in Islamabad on Friday to promote tourism in the country.

During the occasion, the premier said, “Pakistan is a great place for promoting tourism, culture, and heritage.”

He further said, “We will encourage our brotherly countries and those nations that have excelled in tourism, culture, handcraft, and other fields to come to Pakistan and highlight the diversity of our tourism sector.”

The Prime Minister highlights that Pakistan possesses abundant natural resources and scenic beauty throughout the northern areas, making it an ideal destination for promoting tourism in the country.

He emphasized that the “Salam Pakistan” brand and “e-Portal” will play a crucial role in showcasing Pakistan’s diverse tourism at an international level, thus increasing tourists’ interest from across the world in this sector.

In addition, the Prime Minister urged advisors to engage with foreign counterparts from countries that have excelled in tourism and culture to gain insights and benefit from their experiences.

This initiative aims to enhance Pakistan’s international recognition in terms of tourism and contributes significantly to attracting tourists from around the world.
