Scholarships: Exciting news for teachers

The Sindh Education Department has agreed to give scholarships to public sector teachers who want to continue their education.

The scholarships will be awarded at the Institute of Business Management (IOBM), as per a departmental notification.

Bachelor of Education (BEd), BEd Honours, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Educational Management, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Education, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees are all included in the scholarship programmes.

The notification read: “Institute of Business Management, (IoBM) demonstrates a commitment to supporting teachers from the public sector in their career endeavors and therefore offering financial assistance to the teachers who get admission at IoBM.”

The MPhil and Ph.D. programs will provide teachers with active financial support through installment-based tuition fee assistance.

Conversely, those pursuing a BEd degree will be eligible for a 50% tuition price waiver.

HEC Announced Scholarship For Post-Graduate Studies In Germany,

Students who intend to pursue their studies in Germany may now apply for scholarships, according to a joint announcement from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), a German assistance organisation.

Also, The HEC announced that scholarships are available for anyone wishing to enroll in Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) for a Master’s degree.

The HEC announced on Twitter that the Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) programme allows foreign graduates from developing and newly industrialised nations to pursue a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognized German university, regardless of their discipline and with at least two years of professional experience.
