According to PM Sharif, the emphasis should be on making the most of all available resources to lessen the financial problems experienced by low- and middle-income citizens.
The prime minister expressed satisfaction and emphasised the prompt approach taken by the administration that caused urea fertiliser costs to continuously drop.
The premier announced during the meeting that a current account surplus had been achieved in the past two months after several years.
Additionally, he issued a directive to expedite the finalization of pension reforms and establish a pension fund through innovative means.
The prime minister emphasized that the establishment of the fund would alleviate the strain on the national treasury while ensuring the optimal welfare of pensioners.
The PM emphasised the importance of taking practical action to increase revenues and broaden the tax base.
The Pakistani economy is moving towards reaching financial stability, with a continual decrease in the fiscal deficit, according to information provided during the conference.
It was also told that the federal cabinet had approved the upcoming fiscal year’s budget, which would be presented on June 9.
