The military’s media wing reported that security forces had killed three terrorists in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district during an intelligence-based operation (IBO). The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the security forces conducted the IBO in the general area of Nurar in the Bannu district on the night of April 10-11, after receiving reports of the terrorists’ presence. The troops engaged in a fierce fire exchange with the terrorists during the operation, resulting in the elimination of all three terrorists. The statement added that the security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists. The militants involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing innocent citizens.
The ISPR stated that locals of the area praised the operation and showed their full support for eliminating the menace of terrorism from the area.

According to the police, terrorists engaged in a gun battle with Police officers during an intelligence-based operation in Quetta in the early hours of Tuesday, resulting in the tragic death of at least four police officers.
Capt (retd) Zohair Moshin, Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) in Quetta, stated that the objective of the operation was to neutralize terrorists who had previously attacked security forces in Kuchlak.

The operation was carried out in conjunction with Frontier Constabulary personnel and during the operation, the law enforcement officers encircled a house in Kuchlak. The terrorists inside the house opened fire on the officers, leading to the loss of four officers.
