Saudi King invites Nawaz Sharif, PM Shehbaz to perform umrah
ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has invited Nawaz Sharif, the supremo of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif is considered very close to the Saudi ruling family. This invitation is also evidence of their laudable family ties, Geo TV reported it on Sunday night citing sources.
The timing of the invitation by the Saudi King to Nawaz Sharif, PM Shehbaz Sharif for Umrah is very important. It is because these days the PML-N-led government is on a collision course with the Chief Justice of Pakistan as Nawaz Sharif and PDM leaders have rejected the 3-member Bandial’s SC bench hearing elections case.
