On Tuesday, the Islamabad police announced that they apprehended Siddique Jan, a journalist affiliated with Bol News, in connection with the violence and rioting that broke out outside the Judicial Complex while former premier Imran Khan was attending a hearing related to the Toshakhana case.
The capital police and PTI workers engaged in hours-long clashes on Saturday after the former prime minister arrived at the FJC for the hearing.
Also, Yesterday, the police picked up Jan from his office and transported him to an undisclosed location in a private vehicle.
According to a police officer
A police officer said that if a senior officer gives instructions, it will likely result in a case being registered against him.
Jan is the Islamabad bureau chief for the Bol News television channel.
A video shared on social media purportedly captured Jan asking PTI supporters to fire tear gas at police at the FJC.

Furthermore, the police announced that they had arrested Jan in connection with a case filed at the CTD Police Station concerning the “arson and siege” at the Judicial Complex.
Additionally, the ICT tweeted that they would present Jan in court at an unspecified time.
Moreover, On Sunday, the capital police lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and over a dozen individuals, including terrorism charges, at the CTD Police Station for allegedly attacking police officers and causing chaos outside the Federal Judicial Complex.
Also, The complaint listed several sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including:
148 (rioting, armed with a deadly weapon), 149 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of an offense committed in prosecution of a common object), 186 (obstructing a public servant in discharge of public functions), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 380 (theft in dwelling house, etc), 395 (punishment for dacoity), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), 435 (mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to cause damage to an amount of one hundred rupees), 440 (mischief committed after preparation made for causing death or hurt) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
