On Monday, the police reported that a woman in the nation’s capital had been a victim of gang rape.
Over the incident, a rape case was registered against two individuals at the Shalimar police station.
The victim had contacted the two individuals eight days earlier, seeking their help in finding work.
The police stated that she reached out to them because they had previously promised to help her find a job through one of their acquaintances.
Additionally, they picked her up from F-11 Markaz, where she had gone in response to their call.
The police reported that the two individuals took the victim to a deserted location and, while holding her at gunpoint, proceeded to rape her.
Subsequently, they took her to the F-10 roundabout and released her, according to the police.

A woman was raped in Islamabad’s F-9 park at gunpoint.
Two unidentified individuals sexually attacked a Mian Channun resident at Capital Park while keeping her at gunpoint.
The victim reported to police that two armed men approached her and her male coworker at a park in F-9 on February 2.
According to the FIR:
The gunmen separated the two and forced them into a nearby shrubbery.
The culprits allegedly beat the young woman after she begged them to release her.
They even offered them money in return for their safety, according to the FIR.
The assailants battered the woman and threatened her they would invite their “friends” to join them if she raised her voice.
The accused criminals instructed the victim that she shouldn’t be at the park at this time of night.
They returned “all our stuff and paid us Rs1,000 to stay quiet,” and then vanished into a nearby bush.
