Asim Azhar,Shae Gill and Faris Shafi to sing PSL 8 anthem.

The official anthem for PSL 8 will be sung by Pasoori superstar Shae Gill, youth talents Asim Azhar, and Faris Shafi, according to a tweet from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Abdullah Siddiqui will produce the official PSL anthem for the second time this season. He produced the PSL anthem “Aagay Dekh” featuring Atif Aslam and Aima Baig last year.

Earlier, rumors said that the former management of the PCB had approached Ali Sethi for the anthem. However, Najam Sethi considered it would be a conflict of interest if his son sang the anthem. Najam Sethi is the chairman of the PCB’s management committee.

The vocalists of the PSL season 8 anthem had become widely speculated.

Atif Aslam and Aima Baig performed the anthem for PSL 7, as opposed to Naseebo Lal and Aima Baig for PSL 6.

Since Ali Zafar’s anthem from the first season received more positive feedback than any other PSL anthem, some people expressed their desire to hear him sing the anthem once more.

The HBL Pakistan Super League 8 will be held at four different locations, from February 13 to March 19. The matches for Multan and Karachi will take place from February 13 to February 26. Furthermore, 20 matches will be played in Lahore and Rawalpindi, from February 26 to March 19.
