Jeremy Renner, an American actor best known for his role as Hawkeye in the Avenger films and series, was taken to the hospital after an accident in Nevada.
“We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”
“His family is with him, and he is receiving excellent care.” The Hollywood Reporter was informed by the actor’s representative.
Jeremy Renner was alone when he was critically injured in a snow plough accident.
The actor’s home was visited by the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, which is located near Reno, Nevada, according to a police source.
“Upon arrival, deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital,” the police representative said. “Mr. Renner was the only involved party.”
The sheriff’s office is currently investigating the incident.
Renner, 51, lives near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal.
