KARACHI – After experiencing a technical issue, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane made an emergency landing at the airport in Karachi.
PIA flight PK-741 was en route from Islamabad to Jeddah When a problem was found.
The Pilot immediately got in touch with the control tower to request authorization to perform an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.

The pilot was given the go-ahead to safely land the plane.
As soon as the problem is fixed, the flight’s passenger will be sent to Jeddah, according to officials.
A spokesperson for the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) informed the media that engineers had discovered a problem with the aircraft’s backup rear air turbine. He affirmed that the problem had been resolved.
As a private airline made an emergency landing in Karachi on December 2, this is the second emergency landing by Pakistani flights in a span of three days.
