A retired Indian Army major’s decision to back PTI Chairman Imran Khan in light of the latter’s harsh remarks on the Pakistani establishment is cause for concern.
Major Gaurav Arya (retired), using his verified Twitter account, praised Khan for criticising the nation’s army, prime minister, and intelligence agency.
Additionally, Major (retd) Arya requested information on how to donate to the PTI. Additionally, he added the hashtag “long live Imran Khan” to his tweets.
He refers to the Pakistani Army Chief as a beast, the Pakistani Prime Minister as a robber, the populace of Pakistan as slaves (ghulam), and the Election Commissioner as a traitor. He makes a public threat to reveal ISI. How can I donate to @PTIofficial? #ImranKhanZindabad, please.
The tweet quickly gained a lot of attention after being published. As of the time this post was being written, the tweet had 2,500 retweets, 653 quote tweets, and more than 14,000 likes.
The former prime minister has gained considerable popularity on the other side of the border ever since the PTI Chairman decided to take a harsh stance against the establishment and made his recent comments.
A few days ago, an Indian journalist claimed that because of Khan’s anti-establishment comments, he had become their “most favourite” person.
While co-hosting a broadcast with PTI politician Fayyaz Chohan, journalist Rubika Liyaquat of ABP News said, “[Imran Khan] has become my most favourite as he has his eyes set on uncovering ISI’s secrets.”
