ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed on Wednesday that PTI Chairman Imran Khan seems to be the mastermind behind the murder of famous journalist Arshad Sharif.
Rana Sanaullah stated his statement in reaction to PTI leader Faisal Vawda’s allegation that journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder was “premeditated” because it was done at close range.
No matter how Arshad’s murder is probed, according to Vawda, the evidence around it, including his documents, laptop, and mobile phone, “will never be found as they have been erased.”
According to PTI leader Faisal Vawda, “Imran Khan and Faisal Vawda’s allegations linked to Imran Khan with regard to anchorperson Arshad Sharif’s murder,” therefore the interior minister remarked, “PTI leader Faisal Vawda’s revelations should be treated seriously.”
Rana Sana claimed that following Faisal Vawda’s press conference, there was no need for additional proof and that it appeared Imran Khan was responsible for the murder of Arshad Sharif because Faisal Vawda had disclosed the family connected to the farmhouse in Kenya.
“Arshad Sharif visited a farm where Waqar Ahmed, Khurrum Ahmed, and their family lived. The family is involved in the media and has a sizable business in Dubai, which Faisal Vawda used to expose the individuals, the speaker continued.
According to the interior minister, Vawda is clearing the government and establishment while Imran Khan is blaming them.
Rana Sana stated that Faisal Vawda’s statements that he was in contact with Arshad Sharif could not be ignored.
He declared: “Two experts have been sent to Kenya to ascertain the details on Waqar Ahmed and Khurrum Ahmed.
He claimed that the issue of which Kenyan police statement was accurate arose. Arshad Sharif was shot from inside the car, according to the Kenyan police’s second claim, which is consistent with Faisal Vawda’s claim.
The investigative team had travelled to Kenya, according to Rana Sana, and it would soon begin gathering evidence. The team will also pay a visit to the farmhouse and speak with Waqar Ahmed and Khurram Ahmed.
He continued, “The team would confirm who the owner of the farmhouse is.
He claimed that Imran Khan is profiting from the death of Arshad Sharif. As soon as the body of the dead anchorperson from Kenya arrived, Imran Khan announced the date of the long march. He had been delaying it for a more suitable time.
