Speaking to journalists Tuesday outside Sindh High Court, she claimed that I was “targeted by PTI” despite being a supporter of the party (SHC).
The internet sensation went to the SHC on Monday to request security after allegedly getting threats on her social media accounts.
Despite the fact that I support the PTI, some people, including Shahzad Akbar, are against me, Hareem claimed.
She asserted that she has never engaged in money laundering, but at Akbar’s urging, she was arrested and charged with a crime “simply because of a video.”
She also stated that she has no disagreements with former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed and that their differences have been resolved.
“I’ve never supported the PML-N […] I’ve always been opposed to it,” she added.
During today’s hearing, Hareem’s lawyer informed the court that the TikToker is constantly “harassed.”
“Hareem Shah was stopped and threatened on her way to appear before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) [for a money laundering investigation],” the lawyer said.
The court then directed the Sindh chief secretary and the inspector general of police to investigate Hareem’s petition.
“Consider providing security to Hareem Shah if necessary,” the court said in dismissing the petition.
