The water data provided by the Flood Forecasting Division on Thursday indicates that the Indus River has remained in below low flood at Tarbela reservoir and all barrages.
Kotri Barrage in the downstream area recorded an inflow of 88,300 cusecs and an outflow of 59,100 cusecs.
Following a significant flood in the river last month, the water level has receded in a number of Kotri areas that were inundated. After the water level returned to normal, residents who were evacuated from the area have moved back into their houses.
In Sindh and Balochistan, flash floods produced by unusually heavy monsoon rains and flooding in the Indus River ruined crops and thousands of mud homes.
Millions of people were forced to flee Sindh due to a massive lake that was formed by the precipitation that covered a large portion of the province.
At the Guddu Barrage, there was a 56,300 cusec inflow and a 45,600 cusec outflow of water.
At the Sukkur Barrage, the input of water into the river was 45,400 cusecs, while the outflow was 33,600 cusecs.
With a 50,000 cusec water inflow and a 62,200 cusec water outflow, the Indus River has been flowing normally at Tarbela reservoir.
Water entered the Indus at Kalabagh in 78,300 cusecs and left in 70,300 cusecs.
The Chashma River’s input of water was recorded at 107,400 cusecs, and its outflow at 91,600 cusecs.
At Taunsa Barrage, there was an 85,700 cusec water inflow and a 60,900 cusec water outflow.
