Imran Khan likely to give ‘Final Call’ for Long March Soon

Imran Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has urged party leaders, workers, and supporters to prepare for the movement for the country’s true independence, as he plans to issue a call for the long march soon.

In a speech to party leaders and workers in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said that everyone must participate in the long march because it is a form of Jihad. He did not, however, specify a date for the event.

Everyone must come out for their future because this is a watershed moment for the country, he said.

“The country is being ruled by thieves who have been looting the national exchequer for 30 years.”

The former prime minister said he had no grudge or dispute with anyone, including the Sharif and Zardari families. “I have taken a stand for the future of the nation,” he Continued.

“In the past, the corrupt coterie got their thefts waived off after taking an NRO. They caused the national debt to skyrocket four times within ten years,” Imran said, speaking about the leaders of the coalition government, who he termed the “imported government.”

He told party leaders that when the PTI formed the government, half of the money was spent on debt servicing.

The PTI Chairman stated that the PDM leaders remained abroad and obtained by plotting conspiracies to overthrow the PTI government. They came to power under the guise of inflation, but now they have unleashed a storm of inflation.

“It is clear that they [the incumbent government] do not care about the common man. They established the government solely to conceal their stolen funds “he stated.

In a joke with the country, he said, the PDM leaders, whom he referred to as “cabals of crooks,” were exonerated of all corruption-related charges. Imran stated that they were filing false charges against him in order to clear their path.
