Later today, Rana Sanaullah, the federal interior minister, is expected to have a meeting with top MQM leaders in their Bahadurabad, Karachi, office.
It is expected that the party’s missing workers will be addressed.
Sanaullah is carrying a special message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the government’s allies.
After the bodies of three of their missing workers were found in dumps, the MQM recently threatened to quit the government coalition. They had also urged Prime Minister Shehbaz to travel to Karachi and update them on the government’s efforts to find the missing men.
Families of MQM workers who’ve already gone missing have allegedly come at the party’s Bahadurabad office to speak with Sanaullah and learn about the measures the government has made to find the men, according to Sabri.
