According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), three Pakistani Army soldiers were martyred in the Kurram district by militants firing across the international border from within Afghanistan.
In the general vicinity of Kharlachi, Kurram district, terrorists from inside Afghanistan started shooting at Pakistani troops. The soldiers gave a proper response.
According to intelligence reports, terrorists incurred significant losses as a result of the troops’ firing. Though they had battled valiantly during the firefight, Naik Muhammad Rehman, 32, of Karak, Naik Maweez Khan, 34, of Jamrud, Khyber, and Sepoy Irfanullah, 27, of Dargai, Malakand, embraced Shahadat.
