Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and Mr. Fahad Thaheem have visited flood-affected areas in Jacobabad and Ghari Khairo. Senator Moulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri also inspected the flood relief camps where Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani gave a briefing to the media regarding flood victims. Senator Maulana Ghafoor Haideri, Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Sana Jamali, Prince Omar of Kalat, Nasibullah Bazai, and Mohammad Fahad Thaheem of Jacobabad were also a part of the delegation
A thorough tour was conducted that included stops at refugee camps, briefings from the local government, and helicopter aerial views of some of the worst-affected areas in both provinces, including Jafferabad, Usta Mohammed, Sohbatpur, Dera Murad, Kandhava of Jhal Magsi in Balochistan, and Jacobabad, Shiranpur village of Mohammad Fahad Thaheem.
The Federal and Provincial administrations are working hard to provide prompt help to the affected people, as the Chairman of the Senate promised the people. The party also went to a home for the aged, a temporary children’s learning facility, and medical camps. The Chairman of the Senate stated that he and his delegation were there to meet the locals, hear firsthand about the destruction caused by the floods, and see the relief efforts so that the Parliament might assist in providing relief to the flood victims.
The Commanding Officer of PAF Base Shahbaz in Jacobabad also gave the team a briefing on the PAF’s role in accelerating the relief effort and organizing the fast delivery of aid supplies. The Pakistan Armed Forces, specifically the Pak Army and Air Force, have received special recognition from Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani for their quick delivery of aid to flood victims by road and air, saving lives and assisting those who had been displaced to find safety.
