RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations said that the Lt-General Faiz Hameed has been transferred from Peshawar and posted as commander of the Bahawalpur corps.
In a statement issued on Monday, the ISPR said Lt-General Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat has been posted as Peshawar Corps Commander in place of Faiz Hameed.
Meanwhile, Lt-General Khalid Zia has been appointed as the new military secretary of the Pakistan Army.
A week ago, former DG of the ISPR Lt Gen Asif Ghafoor was appointed corps Commander Quetta after Lt-Gen. Sarfraz Ali embraced martyrdom in helicopter crash in Lasbella, Quetta along with five other Pakistan Army personnel.
