Many low-lying areas in Karachi were inundated by downpour on Sunday while four people were killed and many others suffered injuries. The second spell of torrential monsoon rains wreaked havoc in Karachi, flooding residential and commercial areas, damaging properties and disrupting the power and telecommunication system.
