Final cautions were given to both MOR and Chief Officer Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation for making insufficient preparations. On the Commissioner’s orders, the walls of the Committee Chowk underpass on Murree Road were also cleaned with water.
The spokesperson claims that on the first day of Eid, Commissioner Noor ul Amin Mengal made an urgent visit to many areas of the city to assess the state of the sanitation. Ten persons were turned over to the police, who had been stealing skins from Raja Bazaar, Bagh Sardars, and Bani.
