The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Dr Shahbaz Gill, was involved in a minor automobile accident on the M-2 Motorway on Thursday.
The PTI chief was en route from Lahore to Islamabad and was due to appear in court on Friday.

The highway police arrived at the scene immediately, and the injured were taken to the hospital.
When asked whether another car was involved, a representative for the Lahore-Islamabad highway police confirmed that the collision occurred near Khanqah Dogran.
Gill referred to the event as an “assassination attempt” since a vehicle struck his vehicle from behind, causing it to flip over.
After the attack, Gill tweeted:
His car was followed and purposely attacked “under a conspiracy,” Gill said.
He also added in another tweet that he stood by Khan’s side and will continue to do so.
“It is my duty to inform the people of this nation that they will also target Khan. They’ll do everything in their power to keep us quiet,” Gill continued.
There are many who know that the PTI chair’s aides would reveal all those involved in the foreign conspiracy, he stated.
