Modi and Erdogan Congratulate Shehbaz

Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif becomes the 23rd PM of Pakistan.

Turkish President and Indian Prime Minister have congratulated Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on his election as prime minister.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan contacted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday to congratulate him on his election.

Erdogan expressed his joy at Shehbaz’s election as prime minister during the phone call.

He also expected that under Shehbaz’s leadership, Pakistan and Turkey’s brotherly relations would continue to become stronger.

As Shehbaz expressed his hope for closer ties between Pakistan and Turkey, he described the two nations as “trustworthy brothers.”.

Narendra Modi, the Indian Prime Minister, welcomed the newly elected prime minister in a tweet.

As H. E. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was elected as Pakistan’s prime minister, PM Modi congratulated him on his victory on his official Twitter account. He also expressed a wish for peace and stability in the area.
