Farah Khan, Bushra Bibi’s close friend, flies to Dubai

Many PTI leaders are departing for foreign shores

Pakistan’s ex-first lady Bushra Bibi’s close aide, Farah Khan, has fled to Dubai following the dissolution of Pakistan’s National Assembly in response to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s no-trust motion.

According to a report, many PTI leaders have joined Farah in departing for foreign shores.

Sources in the PTI said that Farah had gone to Dubai and that her husband is also a resident there.

Both Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, and Maryam Nawaz, vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, accused Farah Khan of corruption lately.

Ex-PM Shehbaz Gill’s close aide responded to the claims, saying that Maryam started targeting Bushra’s acquaintance since she couldn’t find any reasons to criticise her.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has been de-notified of this position.

According to him, Farah was neither a member of the PTI nor a public figure.

The Cabinet Division delivered a notification on Sunday to remove Imran Khan as Prime Minister of Pakistan because of President Alvi’s decision to dissolve Pakistan’s National Assembly in response to a no-trust motion against him.

President Alvi instructed the PM to go on as the country’s chief executive until a caretaker prime minister is selected under Article 94 of the Constitution.

Additionally, the Cabinet Division has sent out a notice to disband the federal cabinet of 52 members. In addition, 25 federal ministers and four ministers of state were informed by the Cabinet Division.

Qasim Suri, the deputy speaker of the National Assembly, rejected the joint opposition’s no-confidence resolution because he deemed it “unconstitutional” under Article 5.
