ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation anytime tonight to share with public the threat letter that posed a threat to his government.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudry said in a tweet that the prime minister will address at night.
PM Khan also chaired a meeting of the National Security Council in Islamabad today and discussed the content of the threat letter.
However, the US State Department has denied sending any threat letter to Pakistan. In recent days, Prime Minister Imran Khan is blaming the US and opposition leaders for toppling his government through a foreign-funded move.
The State Department spokesperson has termed the allegations of threat letter totally baseless.

“There is no truth to these allegations,” said the spokesperson when asked about the alleged letter and US involvement in the no-confidence motion against the prime minister.
On March 27, the prime minister claimed his government had received a “written threat” from outside the country and it was evidence of a foreign-funded conspiracy against his government.
Opposition parties in the country have also termed a farce to the threat letter drama of PM and his ministers.
The Opposition has demanded resignation from the PM Khan after the ruling party has lost majority in the National Assembly while PM’s focus is the threat letter.
