An Indian Helicopter Crashes 5km from AJK

Pilot and co-pilot evacuated from the helicopter before it crashed close to the Line of Control

In the Gurez region of Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir (IIOJK), a Cheetah helicopter belonging to the Indian Army has crashed after developing a mechanical malfunction. Azad Jammu and Kashmir is less than 5 kilometres from the alleged accident site (AJK).
In accordance with reports, the Indian Army’s search and rescue teams and helicopters are on their way to the scene of the accident to rescue the crew and recover the helicopter’s debris.

Reports from Indian media sites claim that the pilot and co-pilot evacuated from the helicopter before it crashed close to the Line of Control. However, the Indian Army’s pilots’ safety has yet to be confirmed.
The Indian Army, on the other hand, has set up a high-level inquiry board to figure out what really happened.
A Mi-17V5 helicopter belonging to the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed in the state of Tamil Nadu in December of last year, killing the country’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat, and several other top personnel.
At least 14 persons, including General Bipin Rawat’s wife, Defence Assistant, security forces, and Indian Air Force pilots, were killed in the fatal crash.
