The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a new traffic advisory regarding entry into the Red Zone. Authorities have implemented changes to manage movement amid ongoing security concerns.
Restricted Entry Points
According to the advisory, access to the Red Zone will be limited. Vehicles can enter only via Margalla Road and the route near the Marriott Hotel. All other access points leading to the Red Zone will remain closed until further notice.
Alternative Routes for Drivers
Drivers approaching from Club Road are instructed to use Kashmir Chowk. They should then continue through Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue, and Margalla Road to reach the Red Zone.
Similarly, motorists coming from Barakahu have been directed to follow the same route via Kashmir Chowk, Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue, and Margalla Road.

For real-time updates, citizens may contact the emergency helpline at 15 or the Traffic Helpline at 1915. Live traffic information is also available on ITP FM 92.4.
