The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has officially announced revised office and banking hours for Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1447 AH. The updated schedule will apply throughout the holy month of Ramazan 2026.
The new timings will be observed by the State Bank of Pakistan. All commercial banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks (MFBs) across Pakistan will follow the same schedule.
The revised Ramazan banking hours aim to facilitate employees and customers during fasting hours. Shortened workdays are traditionally implemented during the holy month.
SBP Office Hours During Ramazan 2026
According to the official notification, SBP office hours will be as follows:
Monday to Thursday:

These timings will also be adopted by banks, development finance institutions, and microfinance banks for internal office operations.

SBP has separately notified business hours for public dealing. These timings apply to customer-facing banking services, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and other branch transactions.

Timings to Revert After Ramazan
The State Bank of Pakistan clarified that these Ramazan office hours are temporary. After the holy month concludes, all banks and financial institutions will automatically revert to their pre-Ramazan working hours.
The annual adjustment in banking hours reflects consideration for employees observing fasts. It also ensures smooth financial operations nationwide during Ramazan.
