Massive Counterterrorism Operations Launched Across Balochistan
Pakistanโs security forces have intensified large-scale operations across Balochistan following a wave of coordinated terrorist attacks. According to security sources, at least 108 terrorists have been killed so far during ongoing actions against Fitna-ul-Hindustan. The operations began early in the morning and are continuing across multiple districts. Forces successfully repelled attacks at 12 different locations, preventing further damage and loss of civilian life.
Security officials confirmed that 67 terrorists were killed since morning in fresh engagements. These actions are part of sustained follow-up operations aimed at dismantling militant networks, hideouts, and logistical support systems. Ground sweeps and intelligence-based operations are underway. Authorities stated that additional militant casualties and material losses are expected as operations continue.
Earlier, 41 terrorists were eliminated during clashes in Panjgur and Shaban over the past two days. This brought the overall death toll of terrorists in Balochistan to 108. Security forces remain on high alert across the province. Checkpoints have been reinforced, and aerial and ground surveillance has been increased to prevent regrouping by militants.
Ten Security Personnel Martyred While Protecting Civilians
Despite operational success, the attacks came at a heavy cost. Ten brave police and security personnel were martyred while confronting the militants. Security sources said the fallen officials showed exceptional courage. They prioritized civilian safety while repelling the attacks under extremely hostile conditions.
Tributes poured in from across the country for the martyrs. Officials said their sacrifice prevented far greater loss of life and infrastructure damage. Senior security officials emphasized that the martyrs stood firm against what they described as acts of barbarity. Their actions helped stabilize volatile areas and allowed successful counteroffensives.
Authorities reiterated that the sacrifices of security personnel would not go in vain. Operations will continue until all militant hideouts are cleared. Officials stressed that maintaining peace in Balochistan remains a top national priority.
Gwadar Tragedy Sparks Anger After 11 Labourers Killed
One of the most heartbreaking incidents occurred in Gwadar. Security sources confirmed that 11 innocent civilians were martyred in a targeted attack on poor Baloch labour families. Earlier reports had put the number at five, but officials later verified that the death toll had risen to eleven.
The victims included five men, three women, and three children. All were residents of Balochistan who had traveled to Gwadar in search of daily-wage labor. The attack sparked widespread grief and anger among local communities. Residents demanded decisive action against those responsible.
Officials confirmed that all terrorists involved in the Gwadar attack have been neutralized. Security forces expanded operations in surrounding areas to ensure no remaining threats. Authorities said these operations prevented further civilian casualties and restored partial calm in the area.
Security sources also alleged that Indian media and sections of Indian social media openly supported Fitna-ul-Hindustan during the attacks. Officials claimed this exposed a nexus between Indian platforms and militant groups targeting Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the armed forces for their successful operations. He paid tribute to the ten martyrs and offered condolences to their families. The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistanโs resolve to eliminate terrorism completely. Federal ministers Abdul Aleem Khan and Mohsin Naqvi also lauded the bravery of security forces and vowed that operations would continue until the last terrorist is defeated.
