The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new vehicle verification service in Sindh. Citizens can now check details of cars and vehicles through the NADRA Pak ID mobile application.
This initiative is part of NADRA’s ongoing effort to provide essential services digitally. It allows users to verify a vehicle’s registration from their homes without visiting government offices.
Once verification is completed via the app, buyers and sellers can continue the remaining registration process at provincial departments. This ensures a safer and more efficient transaction.
The program was launched in collaboration with the Sindh government. Authorities said it will help prevent fraud in the sale and purchase of vehicles across the province.
How to Access the Service
Users can download the Pak ID app from official app stores. After registering, they can enter vehicle details for verification. Once verified, citizens receive confirmation to proceed with registration.
For further guidance, NADRA has provided a helpline. Citizens can call 1777 or visit the official NADRA website for support.
Expanding NADRA’s Digital Services
Earlier, NADRA initiated a pilot project to make essential identity services more accessible at the community level. Selected e-Sahulat franchises now provide services such as CNIC reprints and renewals.
The pilot phase currently operates at 18 franchises across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi. NADRA officials said the program reduces pressure on registration centres.

The vehicle verification system strengthens transparency in buying and selling cars. It prevents illegal or duplicate registrations and increases public trust. Additionally, it reduces in-person visits, which saves time and enhances convenience.
Authorities said further expansions of the program will include other provinces, making digital vehicle verification a nationwide service.
