Pakistan’s men’s T20I team is set to tour Sri Lanka next month for a three-match T20I series, serving as crucial preparation for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the tour in an official press release.
Series Schedule and Venue
All three matches will be held at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Dambulla on January 7, 9, and 11. The series is expected to provide Pakistan’s squad with valuable match practice ahead of the global tournament next year.
T20 World Cup 2026 Preparations
Pakistan is drawn in Group ‘A’ for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and will play all their group-stage matches in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The mega event is scheduled to take place from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
This Sri Lanka tour will give the team an opportunity to fine-tune strategies, assess player form, and adapt to subcontinental conditions ahead of the world stage.
