Police in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, have arrested a woman posing as a judge to secure a massive bank loan.
The suspect, Ayesha Parveen, falsely claimed to be “Justice Ayesha” serving in Rampur district.
Officials said she was caught red-handed while applying for a loan worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
Fake Identity and Forged Documents Exposed
Police identified Ayesha as a resident of Dadhiro Kala village in Muzaffarnagar.
She was accompanied by a man named Anas, who claimed to be her personal assistant.
Ayesha presented a service card, salary slip, and other papers to prove her judicial position.
However, the bank manager grew suspicious and verified the documents.
All the documents turned out to be completely fake.
Car with Blue Beacon Raises Suspicion
The incident escalated when Ayesha arrived in a car fitted with a blue beacon light.
The car also displayed the word “Judge (Nyayadhish)” on its front plate.
Police, already alerted by bank officials, arrested her immediately on the spot.
Villagers Fooled for Two Years
Investigations revealed Ayesha had deceived her entire village for nearly two years.
She claimed to have passed the PCS-J exam and become a civil judge.
Villagers believed her story and even organized a grand welcome in her honor.
She attended school and college events as chief guest, pretending to be a respected judicial officer.
In reality, she was living in a rented house with a friend.
Police Launch Further Investigation
Authorities have taken Ayesha and Anas into custody and sent them to jail.
Police are now investigating whether others were involved in the elaborate fraud.
Officials said the case highlights the growing need for document verification in financial institutions.
