Yango’s Commitment to Safer Roads
Yango Pakistan Partnered with the Islamabad and Lahore Police For Road Safety and awareness. Yango strengthened its road safety and community engagement initiatives. The company partnered with the Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi police to achieve this goal. Together, they distributed helmets to partner drivers and couriers while organizing road safety and civic sense awareness sessions.
Lahore Event Highlights
In Lahore, Yango organized an event hosted by senior company representatives. Zaheer Ahmad, Head of Operations at Yango Delivery, led the initiative. The session was attended by Fahad Ahmad, SSP Lahore Traffic Police, and Farrukh Raees, DSP Lahore Traffic Police. Both police officials addressed participants on the importance of traffic rules and safe driving measures.
SSP Ahmad praised Yango for providing income opportunities for riders while also prioritizing safety. He emphasized that police forces remain committed to supporting Yango’s mission of safeguarding the community. Initiatives like helmet distribution, he noted, encourage drivers to adopt safer riding practices.
Islamabad/Rawalpindi Awareness Session
In Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Yango hosted another safety session with Jahangir Khan, Head of Public Policy at Yango Pakistan. The event featured Malik Usman Shaukat, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, and Qazi Khalil Farooq, Vice President RCCI. Qaiser Mehmood, DSP Traffic Civil Lines, also attended and shared alarming statistics about accidents and traffic violations.
DSP Mehmood highlighted the urgent need for stronger safety measures and praised Yango for its proactive role. Both the Chamber of Commerce leadership and the police officials appreciated Yango for creating opportunities while ensuring driver and community safety.

Yango Pakistan’s Country Head, Miral Sharif, reiterated that the well-being of partner drivers and passengers remains the company’s top priority. He emphasized that ensuring road safety is as vital as creating income opportunities.
