Teen influencer and TikTok creator Zuza Beine, who openly shared her cancer journey with millions online, has tragically passed away at the age of 14.
Her family confirmed the heartbreaking news earlier this week, revealing that Zuza died on Monday, September 22, after more than a decade-long fight with acute myeloid leukaemia — a rare and aggressive blood cancer originating in the bone marrow.
Diagnosed at just three years old, Zuza endured multiple bone marrow transplants and several rounds of chemotherapy. Despite her relentless battle, she became a beacon of hope and resilience for her vast online community.
Family’s Emotional Tribute
“It is with broken hearts that we share that Zuza died yesterday morning,” her family wrote in an Instagram statement on Tuesday. “She lived 11 of her 14 years with a relentless cancer, yet lived more fully and gratefully than most.”
Sharing a smiling picture of the late teenager, her parents added: “Her being changed us forever, and her dying will too. The last video she made captured what she was grateful for—a true testament to a life filled with both beauty and suffering.”
A Life of Strength and Inspiration
Zuza Beine had amassed millions of followers across social platforms, including her Instagram account ‘Zuza’s way to healing’. She shared uplifting moments, reflections on gratitude, and candid accounts of the pain she endured.
Her family highlighted how Zuza’s life, though tragically short, inspired countless people. “More than anything, she wanted to be a normal, healthy kid,” they noted. “But what made her life so beautiful was how she learned to face the hardest circumstances and still live fully.”
Final Words to Her Followers
In one of her last videos, Zuza told fans: “Lately, my health has not been the best physically and mentally. I’ve been in so much pain lately. I’m constantly on pain medicine because my body hurts so, so, so bad.”
Despite her suffering, Zuza’s courage and positivity resonated deeply with audiences worldwide. She had beaten cancer five times, only to face relapse each time, until her passing this week.
Her story stands as a powerful reminder of resilience, hope, and the extraordinary impact one young life can make.
