A local court in Lahore has extended the physical remand of Pakistani YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, for two more days in connection with a high-profile case involving alleged promotion of online gambling applications.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo granted the extension after the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) produced the YouTuber before the court on completion of his earlier remand.
Allegations of Gambling App Promotion
According to investigators, Ducky Bhai is accused of promoting online betting applications through his social media platforms. Officials allege that he created promotional content for gambling apps, encouraging users to download and engage in illegal betting activities.
Authorities claim he received financial benefits in return for the promotions, raising questions about the legality of the transactions.
Probing Suspected Money Laundering
The investigation has taken a new turn as the cybercrime agency informed the court that funds from the YouTuber’s account had been transferred abroad. Officials stated that additional time was required to trace these transactions and examine possible money laundering links.
The court accepted the request and ordered that the accused be presented again on September 5, 2025.
Arrest at Lahore Airport
Ducky Bhai was taken into custody earlier this week at Lahore Airport. Authorities revealed that his name was placed on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), preventing him from leaving the country amid ongoing investigations.
Officials say he was preparing to travel abroad when he was detained. His arrest has since generated widespread public discussion, given his popularity as one of Pakistan’s leading YouTubers.
Previous Legal Troubles
This is not the first time Saad-ur-Rehman has faced legal action. Earlier in 2025, he was booked by Motorway Police in Rawalpindi for performing reckless stunts. Reports indicated that he drove at dangerous speeds while placing his foot on the steering wheel. He was arrested but later granted bail.
In 2024, both Ducky Bhai and his wife, Aroob Jatoi, were detained in Lahore’s Model Town for displaying firearms on social media. The incident sparked debate over the responsible use of digital influence, as critics argued that such content encourages risky behavior among followers.
Growing Legal Pressure
Authorities have confirmed that the YouTuber remains under investigation in multiple cases. The ongoing inquiries suggest that further legal proceedings may follow in the coming weeks.
Observers note that the gambling app case could have serious consequences, particularly if evidence of money laundering is established. Legal experts highlight that charges involving illegal betting and financial crimes often carry strict penalties under Pakistani law.
The extension of Ducky Bhai’s remand has placed him once again at the center of controversy. While fans continue to support him on social media, law enforcement officials emphasize the importance of regulating digital content that may promote illegal activities.
The coming days will determine whether the investigation uncovers further evidence linking the YouTuber to gambling-related financial crimes.
