Pakistan’s National Security Adviser, Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, is currently on an official visit to China, where he participated in the meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
During the high-level session, Lt. Gen. Malik reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to global peace, stability, and security amid shifting international dynamics. He underscored Pakistan’s constructive role in fostering regional harmony and its dedication to contributing to peace-building efforts across the SCO member states.
On the sidelines of the conference, Lt. Gen. Malik held key meetings with Chinese leadership. Both sides agreed to further deepen security cooperation and expand bilateral ties, with a shared focus on regional stability and mutual strategic interests.
Emphasizing Pakistan’s vision of peaceful coexistence, Lt. Gen. Malik reaffirmed the country’s desire to maintain friendly relations with neighboring nations and to advance initiatives that promote stability and cooperation throughout the region.
